Houseboat

It was hot, it was sweaty, and it was the best house boat experience of our lives! Somehow we made it on to the select list of people Taryn and Brendon invited up to the lack outside of Gridley. The lake was beautiful, the company was perfect, and the weather -- well, it was hot, hot, hot.

Will had a blast swimming in the lake--by himself--with a life vest, and we even swam underneath the double-hulled houseboat. We took a couple of turns in the speedboat (which doubled as nap-time for the boys), and even had a fantastic meal of houseboat grilled burgers.
