We had a great Easter with Will this year. He probably would have been satisfied with the whole game of finding eggs, but when he discovered that the eggs could open, and, the best part, that there was candy inside, he knew he was in love with the tradition. (Every once in a while he runs across a plastic egg, and starts yelling almost hysterically, "I need open it, I need open it!" That is, of course, when I take the candy from him. For his own good.) As you can see from the spoils below, Will is a master Easter Egg hunter.
Oddly enough, the chocolate bunny didn't confuse him at all; must be some evolutionary trait to recognizing chocolate. (There must also be some associated gene with recognizing the different levels of chocolate because the bunny was shortly abandoned for Dove eggs and M&Ms.)
There wasn't an Easter dress competition at Church, but mostly because everyone knew who would win ahead of time (in a trim seersucker suit):
Once removed from the bushes, they finally capitulated.
